In a tribute to the outstanding workmanship displayed within the construction industry in the region, the Master Builders Association held its gala Excellence Awards at Newcastle West's Leagues in September. The objective of the yearly awards is to encourage, promote and recognise "best practice" in the building and to establish benchmark projects for others in the industry to emulate.
